Why this page exists
Health information affects real decisions, so you should know how ours is made. This page explains who writes Nerdz Health, how we research, and how we keep articles honest and up to date.
Who writes Nerdz Health
Nerdz Health is written by Nidhi Talati, an IT business professional based in Ahmedabad, India, who spent years watching desk life take its toll on her own health and on the people around her. She is not a doctor, and our articles are not reviewed by a medical professional before publishing. That is exactly why the rules below matter.
How we research
These are the standards every new and updated article is held to:
- Start from published research and public health bodies, not from other blogs.
- Link to the original study or guideline, never to someone else’s summary of it.
- Try anything physical, such as a stretch, routine or desk setup, before writing it up.
- Say plainly when the evidence is thin, mixed or still emerging.
- Keep safety first: if something needs a doctor, we say so.
Older articles
Nerdz Health has been publishing since 2021, and many older articles were written before these standards were in place, so not all of them cite sources yet. We are reviewing and updating them, starting with the guides readers use most. Each article shows when it was published.
Corrections and updates
If you spot a mistake, an outdated claim or a broken source link, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report, fix factual errors as quickly as we can, and when a change affects the advice in an article we note it there.
Independence, advertising and affiliate links
We choose topics based on what helps people who sit at a screen all day, not on what pays. Some pages may include advertising or affiliate links. If you buy through an affiliate link we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, but this never changes what we recommend, and any page with affiliate links will say so. We do not publish paid reviews or sponsored articles without clearly labelling them.
Images
The illustrations on Nerdz Health are created with AI image tools in our own style. They are there to make articles easier to scan, not to show medical procedures or real people.
